"My passion for exercise and the outdoors began while growing up in the beautiful state of Wyoming. As a young child, my parents introduced me to a variety of sports and activities which grew in to a love for fitness and friendly competition. Throughout my childhood and adult life I have enjoyed playing hockey, participating in jiu jitsu, and pursuing the great outdoors.

With a life centered around fitness, I was driven to pursue further education in Human Physiology and Movement. I continued my journey at Eastern Washington University where I obtained my Bachelors in Exercise Science.

I feel blessed to have been exposed to all of these components to life. Over the years, I have enjoyed teaching and guiding others on the path to wellness so they too can achieve not only their exercise goals but a life-long love of health and fitness. What has driven my success with clients throughout my seven years in the fitness industry is my inherent desire to equal the drive my clients have in meeting their goals.

I hadn’t expected to stay in the Spokane area beyond college, however, I met my wife Bethany at EWU and fell in love with the community as I found club sports and friends with similar passions. I am thankful for the network of people that have helped me establish my life in Spokane. Beth and I enjoy time with family and friends and being active outdoors with our dogs, Melia and Posey."

“I was first introduced to weight training by my dad at age 12 while attending Sacajawea Middle School and participating in both school and club sports. It didn’t take me long to realize the impact that an exercise regime would have on my athletic ability and I went on to play varsity football and basketball for Ferris High School. A Spokane native, I consider the South Hill neighborhood to be an integral part of my upbringing and I value the tremendous community that has been so supportive of me as a student, athlete and professional over the years.

Recognizing my love for sports and exercise early in life, I decided to continue my passion and pursue a BS in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University. During my sophomore year I became certified through the American Council on Exercise and began personal training as a profession.

Throughout my nine years in the field of exercise I have trained hundreds of clients with an expansive range of ages and abilities. Over the years I have enjoyed assisting clients reach their fitness and weight loss goals, helping student-athletes excel in their sport and working with my wonderful clients in their golden years looking to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. I enjoy working with clients of all abilities with a variety of goals and it is the dynamic nature of this industry that motivates me to continuously seek new knowledge and methodologies to improve the training systems I provide for my clients.

It is a wonderful blessing to have the opportunity to train individuals motivated to better themselves. Regardless of the goal, I respect and thank those that put in the time and effort to improve their quality of life. As long as you show up ready to better yourself I want to train you. I am committed to providing training and service that will exceed your expectations.”
